A Poem from the Perspective of Elizabeth II

I used to walk, run smell the flowers
I would dance when people gathered
Now in the morning I oversleep
Previously, I used to get up early.
I used to travel around the world,
being served, eating and drinking the most delicious stuff
Listen as the crowd would call my name
Now I'm an old woman who can barely stand up.
One minute I was young,
next I was old.
I discovered that life is short
and I am also short.
